[edit] Air Dates
Can anyone confirm the dates that ToD was aired? The Lee Majors entry suggests that he was in the series during 1990, but on the Tour of Duty article itself says the series ran from '87 to 89. If it's any help, I seem to remember him being in the later episodes only. Robotmannick 08:14, 21 July 2005 (UTC)
- The show ran from 1987-1990. Season 1 (1987-1988), season 2(1988-1989), and season 3 (1989-1990). Lee Majors was with the show during the 3rd season, but I don't remember when in the season he entered...whether in '89 or '90. Mcflytrap 17:03, 21 March 2007

Lee Majors entered midway through the third season, around January 1990. Kyle Chandler's character Griner joined at about the same time, but the show only lasted for 13 or so more episodes. -numbaonestunna
[edit] Soundtrack
Where can I get a copy of this with the original soundtrack? The music was one of the best parts of the show. Bastie 02:42, 22 August 2006 (UTC)
I watched this series on its original run from 1987 to 1990. Paint It Black by The Rolling Stones was the opening theme for the entire run of the series. I don't know where the idea came from that someone else posted that the Joseph Conlan instrumental (which was the closing theme) was the original opening theme and was replaced by Paint It Black! [edit] Quotes
Thought a post here would have a better chance than one on wikiquote. I reckon this series has a great many interesting quotes, partly because of the social commentary elements that made it great to watch. My problem is that it's been around 15 years since I last watched any episodes and I don't have the DVDs. If anyone does have these and is willing to make a start on wikiquote, by all means!
And to add a personal request: There was this one episode where someone made a fairly sarcastic comment on the use of agent orange, does anyone remember which episode and what the exact quote was? -- MiG (talk) 12:52, 1 June 2008 (UTC)
