[edit] 4 teams with a 3rd place game
I can't seem to find a good template for 4 teams with a 3rd place game Coppercanuck (talk) 18:07, 6 December 2007 (UTC)
- I think Template:Round4-with third is what you're looking for. It took me a little time to find it myself. —Ed Cormany (talk) 05:20, 7 December 2007 (UTC)
[edit] 12-team bracket
Would anyone be able to create a 12-team bracket? Please see its usage example at 1987-88 OHL season. I believe a 16-team bracket could be altered. Thanks. Flibirigit (talk) 21:30, 24 February 2008 (UTC)
- Template:4RoundBracket-Byes can be used in the meantime, unless you want a specialised bracket template for those bye teams in the second round. It is a different tournament system than the existing articles that use that template, such as the 12-team bracket on NFL playoffs, 1998-99#Bracket. Zzyzx11 (Talk) 21:43, 24 February 2008 (UTC)
- I like your suggestion of Template:4RoundBracket-Byes, it looks better than the makeshift version of Template:16TeamBracket. It would be nice to have a specialize version. But I can only think of four articles to be used in: 1987-88 OHL season, 1988-89 OHL season, 1989-90 OHL season and 1990-91 OHL season. I think that converting those other three articles would be sufficient for now. Flibirigit (talk) 22:19, 24 February 2008 (UTC)
[edit] 14-team bracket
I'm also looking for a unique 14 team bracket mainly used in the OHL during the 1990's. There are 3 divisions and no conferences. The top 2 teams receive a bye into the 2nd round. The 2-5 teams in the divisions with a team that receives a bye meet in a divisional playoff series, and the weakest of the 3 divisions has their top 4 teams play in a divisional playoff series. From there, the teams are reseeded in the 2nd round by regular season record, with the bye teams receiving the 1st and 2nd seed.
