Tosca Teran

Tosca Hidalgo y TerĂ¡n is an American new media, metal smith and artist, currently residing in Toronto, Canada. Her work has been exhibited and shown across the United States and Canada.
In July 2005 Tosca opened nanopod hybrid studio in Toronto's Queer West Village teaching beginning goldsmith courses and Open Studio workshops.

Her installations include: Transgenic Morphosis which exhibited at the Design Exchange during Fluid Youth day: Digifest Electronic Cities 2003, bodyBus, 2004 at Harbourfront Centre[1] for Techne Uncommon Objects Orbis Tertius 2004. She was the recipient of Digifest 2005 WILD 'New Voices' award for The Entity.
