Torsten Persson

Torsten Persson is a Swedish economist and the director of the Institute for International Economic Studies at Stockholm University. He has also taught in England, the United States, and Israel. He has collaborated extensively with Guido Tabellini.
Persson is a past President of the European Economic Association, a member of The Royal Swedish Academy of Sciences, and serves on The Prize Committee for the Alfred Nobel Memorial Prize in Economic Sciences.
