Torsten Carleman

Torsten Carleman (1892-1949), born Tage Gills Torsten Carleman, was a Swedish mathematician.

Carleman is remembered in mathematical analysis for remarkable results on integral equations, quasi-analytic functions, harmonic analysis, trigonometric series, approximation theory, the problem of moments and Boltzmann's equation.
