Torrijos is a 4th class municipality in the province of Marinduque, Philippines. According to the 2000 census, it has a population of 28,000 people in 5,641 households.

In 1942, the Japanese occupied in the town of Torrijos, Marinduque.

In 1945, founded in the Battle of Marinduque entering to the American and Filipino troops taked in the town of Torrijos, Marinduque by the attack of the Japanese soldiers in World War 2
