Torrens Transit is a privately-owned public transport company which operates a bus service in the South Australian capital of Adelaide. It is part of Transit Systems Australia, which also operates Swan Transit.

It began operations on 23 April 2000 after winning a contract from the Office of Public Transport, alongside SouthLink and Serco. In 2005, the company became Adelaide's largest bus operator. It employs around 700 staff and operates over 145 different routes with a fleet of about 560 buses. It services most of the metropolitan area, and operates the O-Bahn Busway.

Torrens Transit operate a vast variety of vehicles, including Mercedes Benz, MAN and Scania, There are both diesel and CNG buses on the road.

Mini Buses, Large rigids, articulated buses make for the fleet types. Buses are regularly changed between depot's due to breakdowns and maintenance requirements.

Torrens Transit operate out of several depots. A bus can be recognised by its depot from a 'biscuit' card in the windscreen with a shift number on it. The first number of the shift relates to the depot operating from. They are:

1 - Newton
2 - Port Adelaide
3 - Mile End
4 - Camden Park
5 - Hendon(Satellite of Port Depot)
6 - Morphettville
7 - St Agnes
8 - Edinburgh(Satellite of St Agnes)
9 - St Walkleys (shifts and bus from former Walkley Heights Depot, now based at St Agnes)
