Torre de la Escollera

Torre de la Escollera was a 206 metres tall skyscraper with 58 floors in Cartagena, Colombia, whose construction started in 2005. Torre de la Escollera was never completed as on May 13th 2007, wind forces damaged columns between floor 28 and 40 resulting on a torsion of 1 meter. The construction was suspended and the Society of Engineers and Architects of Bolívar recommended the demolition, which was done from July to November 2007.
