Torre Caney will be Santo Domingo and the Dominican Republic's new tallest building.[citation needed] It will be of 39 stories and 150 meter(492ft) tall. It is being constructed along Anacaona Avenue. The Anacaona Avenue is the Avenue of highest development in the Santo Domingo. Even thougth Torre Caney hasn't still been finished an upcoming project of 65 floors called Torre Anacaona 27 by the same Company can easily take the throne as Caribbean highest if it gets approved by the government.[1]

The Construction started in 2005 by The Company Rodriguez Sandoval in the Dominican Republic. This company has done numerous amount of projects including other Dominican skyscrapers Like Aquabella, Torre Carib, Torre Pedro Enrique Ureña, and the Famous Malecon Center and with the upcoming project of Anacaona 27.[2]

Torre Caney will be the most ambitious project to be done in the Dominican Republic with 31 single Apartments each floor. The three lobby floor will have parking, Indoor Pool, Gymnasium, and many other services. In the top three floors it will have a single owned penthouse and in the roof it will have a Heliport overlooking the growing skyline of Santo Domingo and the Anacaona. Each single floor Apartment will have 853m² Floor space marking one of the biggest single floor apartments
