Torrance Memorial Medical Center is a private hospital located in Torrance, California.
Torrance Memorial was founded by the estate of Jared Sidney Torrance in 1925, and merged with the smaller Riviera Community Hospital in 1967. The hospital moved to its current site (adjacent to Zamperini Field, the Torrance municipal airport) in 1971.
Torrance Memorial was the first hospital in the Los Angeles South Bay region, and is currently one of just three burn centers in Los Angeles County.
