Torque Game Builder, otherwise known as TGB, T2D, and Torque 2D is a game engine designed for 2D games based on the Torque Game Engine. The name was eventually changed to the Torque Game Builder when a graphical game builder was added on top of the software. Torque2D is the name of the underlying game engine while Torque Game Builder is the graphical editing suite that sits on top of the engine and allows easy access to some of the advanced engine features without the need to write code. A good way to learn how to make games with TGB is by going to the development network or by going to www.MakingIndieGames.com.
