Torneo Argentino C

Torneo Argentino C is one of two leagues that form the regionalised fifth level of the Argentine Football Association (AFA) football league system. Clubs in Torneo Argentinos C come from all over Argentina (El Interior).

The other league at level five is is the Primera D Metropolitana which is for clubs from the city of Buenos Aires and its metropolitan area (Greater Buenos Aires).

Over 200 teams (218 in 2006-2007) from the interior of Argentina compete in Argentino C. The three winners gain automatic promotion to Torneo Argentino B, and a further six teams enter two-leg playoffs with teams finishing near the bottom of Argentino B.
