Tori Murden

Tori Murden is the first woman to have crossed the Atlantic Ocean by rowboat alone. She completed the journey on December 3, 1999.

Thirty-six years old at the time[1], she rowed for eighty-one days, traveling 4,767 kilometres (2,962 miles), starting from the Canary Islands and finishing at Guadeloupe.
