[edit] Biography

The group was formed by Steve Brooks (ex Floor), Juan Montoya (ex Floor,ex Cavity), Jonathan Nuñez & Rick Smith (who also plays in the grindcore band Shitstorm[1]). Their music can be described as The Melvins playing a Queens of the Stone Age kind of Stoner and has been labeled “stoner pop,” “thunder rock,” and “doom pop”. Something Revolver Magazine resumed as “At long last, we know what life would be like in a parallel universe where the Melvins became a pop sensation instead of Nirvana”. They have toured with Mogwai, Isis, Baroness, Jesu and are currently touring with The Sword and Stinking Lizaveta until the end of May 2008. [2]. Yet [3]Steve Brooks said that they don't consider themselves a metal band.
