Torakusu Yamaha

Torakusu Yamaha (山葉 寅楠 Yamaha Torakusu; April 20, 1851 – August 8, 1916) was a Japanese entrepreneur who was the founder of the Yamaha Corporation.
Yamaha was a watchmaker who built his first portable reed organ in 1887. Ten , he became the president of Nippon Gakki Co. (later renamed the Yamaha Corporation).
