 This IP address is believed to host an active Tor "exit node" from which Wikimedia projects are accessible. (confirm)

Due to the threat of abuse, as with other anonymizing proxy systems, Tor exit nodes may be blocked from editing Wikipedia. For more information, please see the WikiProject on open proxies.

Use of this template is twofold:

  • As a block reason template for Tor nodes. Takes no arguments: {{tor}}
  • In user talk space, this template categorizes a user talk page into Category:Tor exit nodes. Optionally takes any of the following arguments:

|blocked   = non-empty if this node has been blocked
