[edit] Section names

Nikki311 changed the name of the "Notes" section to "References". This is an completely unnecessary edit, but I suppose it's just a matter of personal preference as to which is more encyclopædia-appropriate, and I am willing to leave it alone. However, changing "Wrestling Details" (containing information on finishing and signature moves and mangagers and the like) to the title "In wrestling" (with a lower-case "W") seems a bit too pedestrian. Can we please come up with a better title for this section if "Wrestling Details" is not good enough? Any thoughts? --JohnDoe0007 07:11, 2 April 2007 (UTC)

If you check other wrestling biography pages, that particular section is always called "In wrestling" or "Wrestling facts." In either case, the second word of the title is lower case according to Wikipedia:WikiProject Professional wrestling/Style guide. It states, "Apply proper capitalization and wording to headings. The headings should follow normal English sentence capitalization rules with the first word capitalized, with the rest being lower case, unless requiring capitalisation for a specific reason, e.g. proper nouns, acronyms, etc." Nikki311 14:35, 2 April 2007 (UTC)

I would like to revisit the naming of the sections I spoke of earlier...I made the distinction between notes and references before, but as it seemed, for this article, it was arbitrary which term was used. Now having thought again, I believe it is not arbitrary, despite the article subject. There is a difference between the terms and any encyclopædia should follow proper format in every article. In reference to the citations with the supertext at the end of sentences that correspond to the notes at the foot of the article, those notes should be termed as such. They are not general references, but footnotes that cite a specific piece of information in a specific work, they are not references to overall works that were used as reference in the construction of the overall article. Just look to featured articles such as Angkor Wat, Felice Beato, Belton House, Matthew Brettingham, Buckingham Palace...do you get the picture? (all that list is is the first 5 featured articles...continue down the list...nearly all are organized that way.) It is the proper way. I will be changing the section back to "notes." --JohnDoe0007 10:11, 11 April 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Blonde Bimobomb?

First of all Why would she call herself a Bimbo? Any Proof? --CharliTa

what is this in reference to? --JohnDoe0007 08:09, 13 May 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Not everything

Not everything needs a Capitol, and Corner 'Closeline', it's spelled Clothsline. AquariusBoy01 11 August 2007

[edit] Swinging Neckbreaker

Since when is "Swinging Neckbreaker" one of Torrie's finishing moves? it should be put in signature moves. Somebody please edit it.

Actually, Torrie did have 'swinging neckbreaker' as a finisher in 2003 as she's used it to finish off Dawn Marie a couple of occasions, including Royal Rumble 2003. Lee 16:33, 16 October 2007 —Preceding unsigned comment added by 172.206.137.123 (talk)

[edit] Torrie's middle name

Go to USA People Search (http://www.usa-people-search.com/) and do an advanced search for first:torrie last:wilson dob:19750724 and it shows Torrie Anne Wilson that has lived in the following cities: Marina Del Rey, CA; Tampa, FL; Boise, ID; & Eagle, ID. This information is obtained through public record databases (SSN, taxes, etc.). —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Laetnej (talkcontribs) 17:35, August 22, 2007 (UTC).

The site does not meet the wikipedia references requirements. Art 281 03:22, 23 August 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Official fansite

Could I suggest that the administrator edit this page to reflect Torrie's official fansite. It was recently announced that [1] is now her official fansite. --Breakindishes 21:21, 22 August 2007 (UTC)

Could you please provide the announcement? Thanks. --Yamla 21:24, 22 August 2007 (UTC)
Also, any indication that they are going to fix the site so that it works in multiple browsers? --Yamla 21:25, 22 August 2007 (UTC)

Here is the announcement placed on the website:

Over the past two years, we've had the chance to cover a lot of Torrie news - from the WWE release faux pas of 2005 to FHM and sadly, even Torrie's split from Pete. But today, iTorrie gets to break it's biggest news ever (well for now anyway)! Our Queen Diva, Torrie has granted us the ginormous honour of becoming her official fansite! iTorrie will still be a 100% fan run website, but endorsed and approved by Torrie as her one and only official fan source on the Internet! With our new found status, iTorrie will be hoping to bring Torrie closer to her fans than ever before! Thank you to Torrie for believing in us and bestowing us with this huge honour! And to all of you guys out there, thank you for supporting the site and Torrie! The past two years have been one hell of a rollercoaster and it's just about to get that little more crazy! So please keep joining us on the ride!

I believe the webmaster has contact with Torrie, she often contributes to the website. Breakindishes 16:59, 24 August 2007 (UTC)

Okay. Any news on if they will start supporting multiple browsers? It's inappropriate to link to a site which works with only MSIE or some such, but if they fix the substantial rendering problems, it would be entirely appropriate to link to that site. --Yamla 17:09, 24 August 2007 (UTC)

This website is now compatible with multiple browsers. Can it be added to the Wiki? Breakindishes 10:02, 4 September 2007 (UTC)

[edit] WikiProject class rating

This article was automatically assessed because at least one WikiProject had rated the article as start, and the rating on other projects was brought up to start class. BetacommandBot 16:45, 28 August 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Playboy covers

I don't know who left the note about the deletion of these images but these two covers quite clearly don't comply with the fair use guidelines. See example 8 of unacceptable fair use in Wikipedia:Non-free content. The cover itself is not discussed in the article and this simply does not meet WP:NFCC. [edit] Hey, is it really true Torrie can do a Missile Dropkick?

Dajira2 15:09, 19 September 2007 (UTC)Hey, is it really true Torrie can do a Missile Dropkick? I saw it under her list of moves under her profile and was wondering is all? And hey, does anyone know if Torrie also do Mickie James Mick-A-Rana on Miss Jackie at a house Show back in 2005?

[edit] Torrie's Moveset

I'm putting this article on hold, I have no doubt that these small errors in the article can be fixed in seven days.

This is a very good article, the only problem with it is that it doesn't provide enough info for someone not familiar with wrestling to know about everything (see Wikipedia:JARGON for more info). Good luck! I am confident that these errors can be fixed within 7 days. Soxred93 | talk bot 05:38, 21 February 2008 (UTC)

Thanks for taking the time to review the article. I should have the problems fixed within the next day or two. Nikki311 21:25, 22 February 2008 (UTC)
