This article needs some serious re-org, cleanup, and removal of promotional/flowery language. I'll see what I can do. android79 18:13, 3 March 2006 (UTC)

  • I see no neutrality dispute here. There is nothing on here that isn't included in other articles. Unless you can point to a specific paragraph, I am removing this tag. Kntrabssi 04:45, 10 April 2006 (UTC)
  • The intro on most players pages needs help removing the fluff. This body is needing some love. Ill give it a shot, but Im not sure how much I can do. False_Prophet
  • It does need some serious cleanup, especially in the 2002 section. i.e "Highly unde and not favored by any major publication to advance through the playoffs, let alone win any games against a very talented Oakland team, the Twins played their hardest." Aside from the fact that every team in the playoffs plays their hardest, that's just an ugly sentence.

[edit] Article needs cleanup DESPERATELY

If I get the time in the next day or so, I will try to add some actual grammar to this page. "After exploding in the beginning of April in 2000, Hunter was sent down to AAA" Yeah, I guess if the guy spontaneously combusted, the Twins had no choice but to send him down to the minors. I'll fix this stuff soon. Hsox05 17:18, 30 November 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Gold Gloves

I am editing this sentence "He has won eight Gold Glove Awards for his defensive prowess". He has only been in the league 8 years and didn't play full seasons his first two years. If you follow the links to gold glove winners you can see that he has won 6 gold gloves. All in a row. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Hsox05 (talk • contribs) 17:38, 6 May 2007 (UTC).

[edit] More controversy.

You should add that he is inadvertently for the segregation of his own race. If someone breaks the rules by sending another team champagne then this is truly a sign that he is an attempted saboteur of all that we would like to stand for in this game. logic begot logic. http://sports.yahoo.com/mlb/rumors/post/Has-baseball-lost-the-meaning-of-Jackie-Robinson?urn=mlb,76568 —Preceding unsigned comment added by Fkylw (talkcontribs) 19:52, 14 April 2008 (UTC)

He made similar idiotic comments last year. I don't think he realizes what desegregation was about at all. To him its all "praising african americans" not "treating EVERYONE EQUALLY" which was the intent. It's a very ironic comment because he says that these white players don't know what its about, when its very very clearly he who doesn't know what Jackie Robinson day is about.
