"Top of the World" is a R&B song written by Rodney Jerkins, Fred Jerkins III, Mason Betha, LaShawn Daniels, Traci Hale, Isaac Phillips, and Nycolia Turman for Brandy's second studio album, Never Say Never (1998). Produced by Jerkins and performed with rapper Mase, the song was released as the album's second international single. It peaked at number 2 on the UK singles chart.

A remix version with Latin rappers Fat Joe and Big Pun appeared on Pun's 2001 compilation album Endangered Species. The Darkchild-produced song was previously released on the remix EP U Don't Know Me (Like U Used To) - The Remix EP (1999).

The music video, directed by Paul Hunter, featured Brandy incurring various supernatural phenomena. She spontaneously floated in the air, flipping and somersaulting above random objects; telephone poles and vehicles, as people stopped to stare. These strange phenomena also included balancing herself vertically and horizontally alongside skyscrapers and buildings. The concept video carried quite a bit of symbolism related to her life as a pop culture celebrity and international icon.

"Top of the World" topped the U.K. R&B Chart for six weeks and hit #2 on the UK national chart. The song became the second consecutive European success for Brandy and peaked at number ten on the European Singles Chart. "Top of The World" also charted at number eleven on the New Zealand Singles Chart and 21 on the Canadian Singles Chart. In the U.S. it was a modest hit while peaking #44 on the Hot 100 Airplay, #19 on the R&B charts and #10 on the Rhythmic Chart.
