"Top 5 (Dead or Alive)" is the first and only single released from Jin's second album The Emcee's Properganda. It is produced by The Golden Child who was 15 years old at the time. The song contains a vocal sample from "Ether (song)" by Nas saying "who's the best?" and "aint no best". It also contains a sample of "Made You Look" by Jadakiss saying "top 5 dead or alive", from which the title of the song comes.
The song is dedicated to many of hip hops greatest artists in the past.

The music video for "Top 5 (Dead or Alive)" was directed by Todd Angkasuwan. It was shot in Fat Beats, New York City. In the video Jin explains the history of hip hop and the way it has affected and influenced him. The video featured appearances from The Legendary DJ Kool Herc, Yung Mac and AVS Squad Gang, The Golden Child, and Jin's manager Kamel Pratt. [1]
