[edit] Relevance of this template

The links on the pages in "List of environment topics:XX" are a wide ranging collection many of which have no relevance to the environment. We are stuck with the word "environment" which is poorly defined. Environment is what surrounds us and is also used as "the things that we are having a negative effect upon through human activity". As editors creating an encyclopaedia we should separate these for clarity of the categorisation of articles. -- Alan Liefting-talk- 21:53, 12 February 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Ecology

I have removed the ecology links. Environment is all about the physical, chemical, biological philosophical and social aspects not simply ecology which is a subset of biology. I removed Conservation as well. It is relevant but it is only part of environment. -- Alan Liefting-talk- 21:59, 12 February 2008 (UTC)

Yes, I know. I included them because they are major parts. The Transhumanist 23:03, 12 February 2008 (UTC)
