[edit] Re structuring

I am attempting to re-structure this article as it has lost some of its context since being split from the main Yorkshire article and no longer has coherence.--Harkey Lodger (talk) 18:03, 14 January 2008 (UTC)

The header needs reworking as it was meant to be a summary on the main Yorkshire page to point to another article on the Geology of Yorkshire. It does not make sense as a precis of this article as there is no further mention of geology. May I do this?--Harkey Lodger (talk) 18:15, 14 January 2008 (UTC)

Yessir, please. Stranded here disappointed, looking for something about Yorkshire's geology.--Jo (talk) 19:20, 27 January 2008 (UTC)

[edit] What next?

Hmm. Where to go now with this article--? My intention when I wrote this section, before it was spun off from Yorkshire, was to write a summary of each of the Joint Character Areas and link it to the article about the area concerned. It would then be possible to link these in turn to pages about individual aspects and settlements in the areas, thus giving a bit more coherence to the topic of the geography of Yorkshire.(I was trying to avoid the debate about the historical and political boundaries and look to the natural boundaries/regions/areas.) Most (but by no means all) articles about the geography of settlements in Yorkshire seem to be lacking in context.( This is not meant as a pejorative criticism.)

The title and lead section of the article will need to be changed, then the article expanded or would it be better to start again? Advice, please.--Harkey Lodger (talk) 18:42, 12 February 2008 (UTC)

I decided to move the page to a more suitable title.--Harkey Lodger (talk) 08:01, 24 April 2008 (UTC)
