AMA Member Advocate,
There's a poll currently in the AMA Homepage about making a new AMA Coordinator election. Please, cast your vote there (though it's not mandatory). Any comments you have about this, write it on the AMA Homepage talk page. Cheers, --Neigel von Teighen 18:43, 4 Jan 2005 (UTC)
[edit] Proposals for AMA Membership Meeting
As AMA Coordinator I am requesting that suggestions be placed on Wikipedia:AMA Membership Meeting plans for our first membership meeting, to be held in the near future, (hopefully before any election occurs.) Since we have never had any kind of "official" meeting we need to discuss how this will occur (i.e. Wiki pages or IRC channel), how it will be structured (i.e. meeting agenda) and if there will be any "chair" to supervise the meeting and meeting "secretary" to write up minutes or keep some kind of official record of what transpires. Thanks in advance for your input and your continued work as an advocate. — © Alex756 20:38, 5 Jan 2005 (UTC)
[edit] Logs of first AMA Membership meeting
You may view the log of the first meeting on the following two pages: Wikipedia:AMA IRC Meeting log (1-23-05) (first hour) and Wikipedia:AMA IRC Meeting log (1-23-05) Pt II (remainder of meeting). If you are interested in commenting on the agenda of the meeting please do so here:Wikipedia:AMA Meeting (suggested topics).

[edit] Cajamarca, Peru - Ransom Room
Hello! I've reading your contributions to several wars and thought maybe I can have some peer review from you on the article concerning Inca Atahualpa of Peru and his capture in Cajamarca's Ransom Room (where the Spaniards fought the natives there and executed Atahualpa during the conquest of Peru). Whenever you have time maybe you go over the Ransom Room article and help expand it a little if you think it needs corrections of some sort. I thank you in advance! Best wishes, --Dynamax 19:37, 26 Mar 2005 (UTC)

- Hi again. I'm sorry... I thought you were Albrecht, since on such user's discussion page he has a link to your user talk page. Something like "And if you have any more questions after that, feel free to post them on My User talk Page." ... and such link took me to your user talk page. --Dynamax 07:08, 2 Apr 2005 (UTC)
[edit] AMA Meeting Proposal
Hi! I put together a proposal for another AMA meeting that I'm hopeful you can chime in on. --Wgfinley 20:15, 25 Apr 2005 (UTC)
[edit] stop with the merging already
Please stop putting merge notices on earthworm. If you have material to add, please do so, but having already shown that you are not aware that "Lumbricus terrestris" and "earthworm" are not synonymous terms, please approach the subject with some humility. Well researched information, on the other hand, is always welcome. -- WormRunner | Talk 06:31, 16 May 2005 (UTC)
[edit] Start with the merging already
Hi there! You nominated a school for VfD... however, these tend to generate lengthy and unproductive debates. Please see Wikipedia:Schools for argumentation. If in the future you decide a school article is inappropriate, please consider merging it rather than nominating it for deletion. Yours, Radiant_* 10:07, May 26, 2005 (UTC)

[edit] X zoology
Hi. I've seen your work on the zoology of some species (especially that of frogs). It's a really good idea, because we're lacking in that content (esp. physiology). Plus it's great for people looking casual information. But I really think your articles should integrate better with the top article itself. Zoology is an extremely general term, so much that the top article X itself is the zoology of X. After a while of "wikipedia-evolution" the top article and your articles will start duplicating content. Not to say I 'm not pleased, your template could become a standard for all general animal groups. Also, realize that in current biology a group such as frogs only has vernacular use. Because of this, your article tends to generalize too much, and so not everything in it applies to all frogs. I don't know enough of frogs to weed out the article, however. [edit] Grasshopper Page
Why was the photo gallery on the grasshopper page removed? I can see no reason why the photos on the old page (Grasshopper) shouldn't be included in the new version. That photo from fotoclipart.com Image:Greengrasshopper.jpg is useless compared to the old ones. --Fir0002 10:45, Jun 20, 2005 (UTC)
[edit] Human Rights Servey on Wikipedia (The final post of I_sterbinski)
-
- Dear all,
- Wikipedia was recently a subject of intensive research of an huge international human right organization. A team of people from different nationalities and ages were acting on Wikipedia for 20 days, investigating previously noted anomalities of Wikipedia free editing and forming a final report, which (between the others similar reports) will later be a guide to all future moves of the organization concerning Wikipedia. Acting under an account of a real person, their privacy is to be held private. Therefore, very few private information will be revealed.
- Also, this is a result of the lack of final possition of the organization concerning Wikipedia and human rights, which was still not formed.
- The team's final post on Wikipedia, where they explain their actions can be found on the following addresses:
- http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Talk:Macedonia#Human_Rights_Servey_on_Wikipedia_.28The_final_post_of_I_sterbinski.29
- The team would like to thank to all the persons who took part in the correspondence with us.
- We also want to appologise for keeping our identity secret for a longer period.
- Best regards,
- Aleksandar, Biljana, Asparuh, Christos, Valjon, Michael and Ana Luiza

[edit] Look! A userbox...
Hello! I was bored and making userboxes (I know, I have weird ways of filling time) anyway, I made userboxes for all the different colleges in AK. I was running through the list of Wikiproject AK members to send them notices and I happened upon your userpage. Just for grins, and because it seems like a really neat school, I made one for Steller too. Here you go:
