White Wolf is a Canadian heavy metal band that was formed in the early 1980s in Edmonton, Alberta. The five-piece group enjoyed moderate success in the Canadian metal scene, with two albums breaking into the Billboard charts, and toured internationally for several years in the 1980s before the sale of its record label RCA Records to BMG led to its disbanding in 1988. It reformed in the mid-2000s with a new album released in 2007 and a live album planned for 2008.
[edit] History
White Wolf started as a cover band formed in 1980 when founder and vocalist Don Wolf (then going by his birth name, Don Wilk) and guitarists Cam MacLeod and Rick Nelson connected with bassist Les Schwarz and drummer Loris Bolzen met up in Edmonton, Alberta and created a cover band known at first as Warrior.[1]
