Tony Webb

J. A. R. Webb ("Tony") is a British politician from Colchester in Essex.
Webb was an Independent (resident's association) councillor for the Tiptree ward of Colchester Borough Council for 30 years. He decided not to run for office again and retired in 2006. He has been made an Alderman of the borough. This is a position awarded to those who have given at least 20 years of service.
He served as Mayor of Colchester from 1994 to 1995.
A street in Highwoods, a suburb of Colchester has been named after him: Tony Webb Close.
