Tony Mario Sylva (b. May 17, 1975 in Guediawaye) is a Senegalese football international goalkeeper currently transferred to Trabzonspor from Lille OSC in French Ligue 1. Sylva has also been on the books at AC Ajaccio and AS Monaco. He is remembered for leading Senegal through the 2002 FIFA World Cup, where they got to the Quarter-finals, losing to Turkey by a Golden Goal. He could not save the goal against Turkish scorer Ilhan Mansiz.
