Tony Smith (born June 29, 1970 in Chicago, Illinois) is a former professional American football player who played running back for three seasons for the Atlanta Falcons. The first-round pick that Atlanta used to draft Smith originally belonged to the Green Bay Packers. Atlanta acquired the pick in exchange for QB Brett Favre.
