Tony Scaglione
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Tony Scaglione is a thrash metal drummer and has been a temporary member of Slayer, but is known as one of the founding members of Whiplash. Scaglione replaced Slayer drummer Dave Lombardo for the year 1986 after Lombardo took a break. Lombardo returned in 1987 after his wife convinced him.[1] Scaglione returned to Whiplash, staying a member until their break-up in 1998. He is the only Slayer drummer to have not also been a member of Testament.
