Tony Nyadundo

Tony Nyadundo was born in the lakeside area of Kenya. Middle aged man from the luo community, the man has a vast talent in local music.Ohangla (Music from the lake region) He is now branded the king of ohangla. Tony is one of the Kenyan musicians who are making it big because of music, his brother Jack Nyadundo who is also a musician of the same genre is also making it wide in the music sector.
Tony is recognised for his hits like, dawa ya mapenzi, Obama and many more hits. He has performed in various countries e.g Germany, USA.
In 2006 he released album Obama. The name is reflection of Barack Obama, the US senator whose father is from the same region as Nyadundo [1].
At the 2007 Kisima Music Awards he won the traditional music category for [2]. He was among 100 most influential Kenyans as selected by The Standard newspaper in August 2007 [3][4].
