Anthony "Tony" Jones (born. July 10, 1961) is an Australian sports journalist.

In his career, Jones has been most noted for his work with the Nine Network in Australia, as a sports reporter for National Nine News and host of Sunday's edition of The Footy Show.

One of the most famous incidents he has reported on in recent times was the Whispers in the Sky umpiring scandal in the Australian Football League. This caused some criticism towards Jones from disgruntled fans.

In addition to his work on National Nine News, he has also been a boundary rider during Nine's AFL coverage, and presented a horseracing show with Simon Marshall on SEN 1116 in 2004.

Jones also fills in occasionally for Cameron Williams presenting sport on the Today.
