Anthony ("Tony") Alexander Jarrett (born August 13, 1968 in Enfield, London) was a sprint and hurdling athlete from England, who came 4th in the 110m hurdles at the 1992 Summer Olympics in Barcelona, Spain. Four years earlier he ended up in sixth place in the same event.
Jarrett's career was paralleled by the achievements of fellow Briton Colin Jackson, who beat him into second place on numerous occasions at major competitions such as the World Championships, Commonwealth Games (twice), European Championships and Goodwill Games. Jackson also defeated Jarrett eight times at the national championships. In all Jarrett won two individual world silver medals, another silver in the 100m relay and a bronze.
Jarrett was disqualified for false starts at both the 2000 Summer Olympics in Sydney, Australia in the first round and the Edmonton World Championships a year later in the semi-finals, events from which he appeared never to recover.
Jarrett currently holds the English record for 110m hurdles at 13.00 seconds, his personal best time for the event.
