Tony Halik, real name: Mieczysław Antoni Sędzimir Halik (b. January 24, 1921 in Toruń - May 23, 1998 in Warsaw, Poland) was a Polish traveller and explorer.

During World War II fly in Dywizjon 201, but as a result of fire found himself in France, where he joined the resistance movement. For his work has been awarded the French Cross of War. After the war for more than thirty years, he worked as a correspondent for NBC.

In 1976, Elżbieta Dzikowska and Edmundo Guillen came to the legendary Inca capital - Vilcabamba.

For over twenty years ran with his wife - Elżbieta Dzikowska programs (more than three hundred) for TVP: Where pepper grows, where vanilla grows, where almonds blooms, Where the smell eukaliptus and Pepper and vanilla. He made approximately four hundred films, documentaries.

He wrote thirteen books and many articles for newspapers and a contributor to computer Encyclopedia World.
