Anthony Joseph Fredianelli (born: April 2, 1969) was born in Santa Monica, California. He spent most of his early childhood living in Las Vegas, Nevada. Fredianelli has four siblings. He married in 1995 and has a son, Joseph.
Fredianelli was the original guitarist for Third Eye Blind. However, he was forced to quit the band when he could not afford to move back and forth from his home in Las Vegas to San Francisco, where the band rehearsed. Fredianelli later rejoined the band to play background music, and eventually replaced Kevin Cadogan to again become the band’s primary guitarist.
Fredianelli's chief musical influence was his father, Ronald Fredianelli. His other musical influences include Jimi Hendrix, Jimmy Page, and Elvis Costello. Fredianelli was signed to Shrapnel records when he was seventeen years old and found acclaim as a virtuoso guitarist in the mid-late eighties as the main force behind the speed metal band Apocrypha, which released three albums. Fredianelli released a solo guitar instrumental album called Breakneck Speed. Afterwards, Fredianelli was a prominent figure in the Las Vegas local music scene, heading bands like Sugarhouse, Mindfield, and Magic Alex.
Fredianelli has four siblings, Tiffany, Chris, Ronald Jr., and Missy . His son also plays the guitar 'left handed' and has played shows with him.
