Tony Ensor

Tony Ensor, was born on August 17, 1949 in Dublin, (Ireland). Named at birth as Anthony Howard Ensor, he was an Irish rugby union player from 1973 until 1978.

Educated at Gonzaga College and UCD he played for the Wanderers club. His international rugby union debut was on March 10 1973 against Wales aged 23. He was capped 22 times for Ireland, winning his last cap against England on March 18 1978.

A full back, Tony's only try for Ireland came in 1975 against France while he was also a goal kicker and scored a total of 31 points for his country.

A solicitor by trade, Tony has served as President of the Law Society of Ireland. He now lives in Ballinapark, Bunclody, County Wexford.
