Tony Carreira is a Portuguese sentimental singer. He was born in Armadouro, a little village in Pampilhosa da Serra, Centro region. He went to Paris at 3, where he lived for 20 years. The singer-songwriter has had a string of hits since 1991 rapidly becoming one of the most renowned popular singers in his home country. Tony Carreira sold out concerts in one of the largest venues in Portugal, the Pavilhão Atlântico in Lisbon, and also at the Olympia in Paris.

His most recent album, A vida que eu escolhi, has been certificated six times platinum in Portugal.
