Tony Brown (born September 29, 1980) is an American football defensive tackle for the Tennessee Titans in the National Football League.
Born September 29, 1980. Chattanooga, TN native. Played football at City (Chattanooga) high school, eared All-State honors on defense as a Senior. Played college football at Memphis. Joined Tennessee Titans midseason 2006. After being waived by the Carolina Panthers Brown returned to Chattanooga, waiting on his phone to ring for his next opportunity. One Sunday, while in church, Brown felt his phone vibrating. His prayers had been answered, as it was his agent informing him that the Titans were interested. Later on in the season Brown would record his first career touchdown, after a fumble recovery. Greatly supported by local area businesses, Brown gives back to his Chattanooga community on a regular basis. Among his most popular supporters are James Hughes of Soddy-Daisy, TN and Ron Rench, owner of a local Dynabody gym in Dallas Bay, TN. Brown is married to Lachandra Brown, the couple splits time between Nashville and Chattanooga.
