Tonstad

Tonstad is the administrative centre of Sirdal municipality, Norway. Its population (2005) is 751.

Tonstad used to be a separate municipality. It was created in 1905 by the splitting of Sirdal, but in 1960 the split was reversed and Tonstad was reunited with Øvre Sirdal to form Sirdal. (www.sirdalsnett.com)
