Tonight is Goodbye (Also known as TIG) are an English Rock band formed in 2005, originally under the name Cross My Heart. The band who originate from Buckinghamshire have already made a name for themselves on the scene. After being picked by judges at Ernie Ball, the band played alongside bands such as Taking Back Sunday, Underoath and Saosin at Brixton Academy on the 2006 Taste of Chaos tour. The band signed to independent label Tree Brain Records and released an EP on June 4th 2007 entitled The Birds and The Bees. This was recorded at Outhouse Studios in Reading, where Enter Shikari's album Take to the Skies was also recorded. The band have received critical acclaim from the likes of Kerrang, Xfm, Musicscoop.net and BBC Radio 1 DJ Zane Lowe.[citation needed] In December 2007 Tonight Is Goodbye released a one off track named "Beauty and The Beast" onto their myspace. In 2007 the band toured with various acts including You Me At Six | Death Can Dance (Summer Tour), The Riverclub (pulled out however Tonight Is Goodbye carried on to play several of the dates), Kids In Glass Houses (main support October tour), Furthest Drive Home | Saving Aimee (No Sleep til' Birmingham tour) and have completed a tour with the band Enjoy Destroy. The band are scheduled to play Slamdunk Festival in Leeds on the 25th May 2008, they will only be playing a smaller stage, but the headliners for the festival include Cute is what we aim for and Boys Like Girls, as well as friends of the band You Me At Six. They are currently supporting You Me At Six on their 2008 headline tour.
