Tongoma or Tongo is a diamond-rich town in Kenema District located in the Eastern Province of Sierra Leone. It is the second largest town in Kenema District, after Kenema, which is also the capital of the district and the third largest city in Sierra Leone. It was RUF stronghold during the civil war. The town has it own football in the Sierra Leone National Premier League called the Gem Stars.
