[edit] Deletion

Tony Olsson was an international motorcycle speedway rider who represented his country Sweden speedway team in the Speedway World Team Cup Final on at least two occasions. He is highly notable. Was the deleted article about the same person ? I fail to understand the reasomn for this nomination. Hammer1980ยทtalk 18:30, 2 October 2007 (UTC)

You may note that this article has expanded significantly since I put it up for deletion. First of all, I do not recall what the old Tony Olsson article was about, but the article (as it was) didn't do much to assert notability. I'm still a bit concerned - how does a series of what appear to be the same thing (speedway racing almanacs) establish notability? How does his own team's website establish notability? We need two reliable third party sources demonstrating that this person is actually notable. See the policy in question. I still see nothing that makes this article meet notability requirements. --Cheeser1 01:27, 3 October 2007 (UTC)
