Changed link to LibCom (which has been deleted) in para 3 to a link to Lancaster UAF blog which reprints Owen's statement in full. The LibCom article was sourced from this one anyway. --Ketlan 04:46, 24 September 2006 (UTC)

This needs a thorough POV check but the facts reported are broadly correct and the person concerned is notable. Dbiv 23:02, 12 Jan 2005 (UTC)

  • the facts reported are broadly correct — Really?
  • suspected state plant
  • Has a conviction for attempting to blow up
  • foolishly stopping for a Kentucky Fried Chicken en route
  • alleged to have agreed to continue working for the state upon his release
  • a member of the notorious homosexual group
  • third in line to the BNP throne (what "throne"? Political parties don't have thrones.)
You are of the opinion that these are all facts? What are the sources? This article seems to be, quite simply, part of a libel war amongst political activists (see 81.155.208.84's contributions), and speedily deletable as libellous vandalism under WP:CSD. Uncle G 14:26, 2005 Jan 13 (UTC)
  • A redlink would have been better than the previous libellous article. However, the article that Dbiv submitted as I was submitting the above is better than a redlink. I was just about to add a {{vfd}} to the page, too. (-: To reinforce the point that I was making above, I draw your attention to the fact that none of the above "facts" are in the rewrite. Uncle G 14:49, 2005 Jan 13 (UTC)
OK, perhaps I was a bit wrong on that! I did spot the 'attempting to blow up' thing which is broadly correct though. Still, prompted a rewrite which produced a reasonable article. Dbiv 22:13, 13 Jan 2005 (UTC)
