Why is his name spelled here as Toni and not Tony? Is it the way he wants it or the author of this article simply assumed so because of the person's origin?

I think Toni is his birth name and he adapted it to Tony for the stage, not 100% on that one though. Offski 17:21, 14 November 2006 (UTC)

I think this needs to be investigated to the full, since he seems to be writing "Tony" everywhere. Northern

A Google search for "Toni Kakko" "Sonata Arctica" returns a fairly sizeable 847 compared to "Tony Kakko" "Sonata Arctica"'s 36,000. My guess is that he was born Toni and changed it to Tony when working with record labels and professionals and the new spelling just stuck with him for whatever reason. I can't imagine the name is meant to be spelt 'Tony' in Finnish. What do I know though? Offski 01:37, 16 November 2006 (UTC)

So, I'm changing. If his current name is Tony and not Toni, then we should write it as Tony. We could also note the name he was born with, but I think it's pointless since it's no big difference than the current one. Northern

hey all but the last paragraph comes from the bio on his website, doesnt that break some kinda rule?

oh wait i just checked, it seems they took it from here, so arent they breaking some sort of rule?
