TTG suites at the present day are produced within subduction systems where a spreading ridge is undergoing subduction, such as the Chile ridge and the South American subduction zone. This means an analogy between ridge/hotter than normal ocean crust and the process of Archaean tectonics can be made. ClimberDave 15:54, 17 April 2007 (UTC)
