Hi. You might want to nominate Connecticut Route 108 for the "Did you know?" section on the Main Page. If you can think of an interesting hook, you can nominate it at T:TDYK. --Polaron | Talk 01:55, 4 July 2007 (UTC)

The information on the highways is pulled from Reverend Orcutt's History of the Old Town of Stratford, already referenced, on pages 282-284. I inherited his two volume leather bound book and it's a very interesting work. You can also read the pages on Google books. If you think this could compete then by all means please list it. Article looks good now, all it needs are some clear digital pictures. You know there's plenty of information on highways in the Stratford land records. I came across a lengthy quit claim once from around 1680 between Benjamin Beach and the elder John Bostick in it Beach is promised a road would be built in exchange for payments, etc. There's also many pages listing all the new highways by location, width, cross highways, etc. That's why Orcutt could write so much about the subject in his history. The town did a fine job describing the roads but not where the land or houses were; "north 2 rods to a rock, east 20 rods to an oak tree with stones laid to it, west to common", etc.Tomticker5 11:39, 7 July 2007 (UTC)

Hi there. We appreciate you creating the steak sandwich article, which is relevant to have its own article, but some of the information you've been adding isn't relevant to an article of that title. You're adding a lot of info about Louis' Lunch which already has its own article and hence the info isn't appropriate for a general article on the food.
