[edit] GUST

Hello, any chance you could throw your hat in the ring for the debate on the GUST talk page? JMalky 09:40, 7 June 2007 (UTC)

  • What is it with us British physicists and wikipedia? Is it wrong that we feel the need to correct international editors when their wrong? hehe TorstenGuise 23:00, 7 June 2007 (UTC)

[edit] British Student Television

I wasn't implying that you had developed the page in secret, far from it. I was mostly commenting on Sherzo's comments that i had not put in any input. From where I came into the discussion on GUST, only Sherzo had implied, but not linked to the article in development form the GUST talk page. I'm unhappy with his bull in a china shop method when he closed the GUST article and moved your work in progress page live. Following that, after protests about the name, Sherzo began to enter into this rather snotty behaviour thinking he owns wikipedia. I don't agree with his rather hard line deletionist approach, and after his comments on British users in this debate, he has also lost my respect. TorstenGuise 16:04, 6 August 2007 (UTC)

I would just like i would be happy to stop editing the page if this would mean you would make contributions to it as i feel your access to sources balance with some pretty impartial editing would make you better to suited to editing the page, plus i'd like to move on rather than be continually bogged in the musha of form over substance. [edit] Fair use rationale for Image:NaSTA Logo.gif

Thanks for uploading or contributing to Image:NaSTA Logo.gif. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia constitutes fair use. Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale.

If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Nick 13:05, 13 August 2007 (UTC)

Done, hope I've done it properly!

[edit] Wikiproject Universities

Wikiproject Universities is drafting guidelines for application to worldwide higher education systems, and in my opinion ONLY favors the American collegiate system, making the British Universities system a potential target for deletionists. Under the proposed guidelines, most, if not all, Student Union & Student Activities pages are at serious risk of deletion. Your help would be much apreciated.
