[edit] Regarding edits made during July 30, 2006 (UTC) to Birmingham

Thank you for experimenting with Wikipedia. Your test worked, and it has been reverted or removed. Please use the sandbox for any other tests you want to do. Take a look at the welcome page if you would like to learn more about contributing to our encyclopedia. Erebus555 14:18, 30 July 2006 (UTC)

I understand that somethings were factually correct but I don't think saying they are considered the most famous sporting organistion in the world is factual. If so, add a source to back it up otherwise other Wikipedians will dispute the statement as a non-neutral point of view. - Erebus555 14:28, 30 July 2006 (UTC)
I understand but the thing is, you had no external source to prove it. Plus, the area in which you editted is a summarized version of the Sport in Birmingham article which would also be a more reasonable place to put it. Also, I apologise for using the wrong terminology in the edit summary by saying it was vandalism. - Erebus555 14:33, 30 July 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Darren Kelly

He isn't so obscure now, eh?

[edit] Stuart Walker

A tag has been placed on Stuart Walker, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article seems to be a biographical account about a person, group of people, or band, but it does not indicate how or why he/she/they is/are notable. If you can indicate why Stuart Walker is really notable, I advise you to edit the article promptly, and also put a note on Talk:Stuart Walker. Any admin should check for such edits before deleting the article. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Please read our criteria for speedy deletion, particularly item 7 under Articles. You might also want to read our general biography criteria. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself. To contest the tagging and request that admins should wait a while for you to assert his/her/their notability, please affix the template {{hangon}} to the page, and then immediately add such an assertion. It is also a very good idea to add citations from reliable sources to ensure that your article will be verifiable. Leuko 16:35, 24 September 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Fair use rationale for Image:1007newlogo.gif

Thanks for uploading Image:1007newlogo.gif. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in Wikipedia articles constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale.

If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

[edit] Unspecified source for Image:1007newlogo.gif

Thanks for uploading Image:1007newlogo.gif. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, then you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, then a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a restatement of that website's terms of use of its content, is usually sufficient information. However, if the copyright holder is different from the website's publisher, then their copyright should also be acknowledged.

As well as adding the source, please add a proper copyright licensing tag if the file doesn't have one already. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then the {{GFDL-self-no-disclaimers}} tag can be used to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Fair use, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair use. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the image is copyrighted under a non-free license (per Wikipedia:Fair use) then the image will be deleted 48 hours after 06:19, 16 May 2007 (UTC). If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

[edit] Transwiki to a more suitable site

As several of your articles are currently under review for deletion, you may wish to consider transferring them to Wikipopuli, a wiki that hosts biographical articles and does not impose a notability requirement. TheYellowCabin (talk) 23:47, 5 February 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Welcome to Wikipopuli

Hi TomParkerAVFC, I'm glad to see you were able to make use of Wikipopuli. If you have any suggestions or need any help feel free to contact me here or on Wikipopuli. I invite you to register on Wikipopuli; one advantage is that you can be notified if anyone makes any changes to a page you've created. TheYellowCabin (talk) 19:10, 8 February 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Disputed fair use rationale for Image:Oldheartlogo.jpg

Thank you for uploading Image:Oldheartlogo.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale provided for using this image under "fair use" may not meet the criteria required by Wikipedia:Non-free content. This can be corrected by going to the image description page and add or clarify the reason why the image qualifies for fair use. Adding and completing one of the templates available from Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy. Please be aware that a fair use rationale is not the same as an image copyright tag; descriptions for images used under the fair use policy require both a copyright tag and a fair use rationale.

If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it might be deleted by adminstrator within a few days in accordance with our criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions, please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot (talk) 16:35, 8 March 2008 (UTC)
