Tom McLaughlan is an English born independent musician. Born on February 4th to parents Jon and Patricia, in Billingham in the North East of England. Currently with 1 EP to his name, he is working on a 2nd CD and hopefully to spark some label interest with his electronic, ambient, beautifully abstract music. Tom creates all of his music with his keyboard, guitar and laptop, and occasionally works with other musicians, notably The Blue Room, run by Joe Wheatley.

In 2004, Tom started his first band with friends in college, named 'The Best Deceptions' after a Dashboard Confessional song. The Best Deceptions played about 4 or 5 shows in the local area, with bands such as Just About Done and Zapped By A Million Volts. They then recorded a 5 track demo EP, but disbanded shortly after due to other commitments. Tom is currently at The University of Sheffield studying Physics and Astronomy.
