[edit] Tim MoMH
Tim King, better known as Tim MoMH, is the self-proclaimed Master of Mathematical Humour. He tells maths jokes which are notoriously good. For example:
How do you expand brackets? With a crowbar!
Many of his jokes are followed by an extremely high-pitched "Haaa!" and/or the phrase, "I thought that was quite good, actually."
Tim has published 2 joke books and a mock version of the UKMT Maths Challenge based on jokes.
[edit] About Tim
Tim King was born in 1957, comes from west sussex and has a very refined accent. Unfortunately he was made an orphan when his parents decided to float him down the river Adur in a wicker basket, and ended up in Hastings where he was taken in by Lord Kensington II, well known for his riches. There Tim concocted his Mathematical Humour, and polished it to perfection. In 1975, he studied at Cambridge University, and got a first degree in maths jokes. While at Cambridge, he met his friends Stephen James, and Yusuf (founder of ancient mönöcles) Tor. They then created the Order of the Refined, who are well known today as one of the most prodigious orders of chivalry.
[edit] Tim's maths Jokes
Please be aware that you may not get some of these jokes as they relate to personal experiences of Tim MoMH, and some just aren't funny! Obviously we can't include all of his maths jokes here but these are some of Tim MoMH's famous maths jokes:
What do you call an annoying goat? A PC Kid
What do you call a scary shape? A sph-fear!
What shape can fly? A Kite!
The numbers 65, 99 and 4321 are all a bit weird. In fact, I'd say they were odd!
A square goes into a restaurant. The square says: I'll have a regular, please. The Waiter says: Well, you are a regular kind of shape!
Two mathematicians were disagreeing on the fundamentals of modular arithmetic. You could say their opinions were DIVIDED!
How does Noah tell mathematicians where his boat is? By Arc Sine!
[edit] MoMHcasts
A MoMHcast is like any old video podcast but there is one key factor that makes it stand out from the crowd! It is The MoMH. He tells "hilarious" maths jokes, does humourous accents, and even has relatives come from around the world just to get in his podcast! Search for them on YouTube, download the videos of http://www.refinedsite.co.uk or download the podcasts from iTunes!

[edit] The Refined Site
The Refined Site is a highly respected website which was originally founded and created by Tim King, Yusuf Tör, and James Stevens on May 31st, 2006. Since then this site has achieved views of over 1500 and is still increasing today. It has rapidly grown from a simple webpage to a much more complex one, purely through hard work of the 3 founders. David Edey, a mathematical genius, has also helped with building the site guestbook and various other functions. The founders of the Refined Site belong to the group - The Order of The Refined; who regularly have meetings to discuss issues such as how to control the most unruly peasants.
They have single handedly revived the monocle, tophat and cane as the most tip-top items ever! (It's a pity Mrs.Doubleday didn't try wearing a monocle in the school photo.) Because of his re-finding (no pun intended) lost, yet excellent, elements of society, Tim MoMH has recieved an OBE for being refined.
