Tomas Perez-Acle (Tomás O. Pérez Acle) is a Chilean Bioinformatitian, born on September 9, 1970 in Santiago de Chile. He is the Director of the Centre for Bioinformatics CBUC [1] since its formation in 2002. The CBUC is a research and services facility located at the Faculty of Biological Sciences [2] in the Pontificia Universidad Catolica de Chile [3]. Graduated as Biologist from the Universidad de Concepcion [4] (Chile), in 1992, he received his Ph. D. on Biotechnology in 2006 at the Universidad Andres Bello [5] (Chile).
