Hi,
My name's Tom Prankerd, and I live in Winchester, England. I'm interested in most things... some of the articles I've contributed to substantially are listed below. For my exact contributions, check the page histories. I also have a small personal site - http://counter-x.net

[edit] Formula 1 Articles
I'm a fan of F1 racing, especially during the 1980s/1990s, and especially the more obscure or unsung drivers and teams... This is reflected in the work I've done. F1 articles I've either created or substantially expanded include those on: -
[edit] Drivers
- Giovanna Amati
- Chris Amon
- Giancarlo Baghetti
- Éric Bernard
- Alex Caffi
- Divina Galica
- Jean Pierre Jabouille
- Jean Pierre Jarier
- Nicola Larini
- Stefano Modena
- Roberto Moreno
- Jackie Oliver
- Ricardo Rodriguez
- Eric van de Poele
- Jacques Villeneuve (elder)
[edit] Teams
- Andrea Moda
- ATS
- EuroBrun
- FIRST
- Fondmetal
- Hesketh
- Kojima
- Life
- Maki
- Modena
- RAM Racing
- Spirit
- Frank Williams Racing Cars
[edit] David Bowie & Tin Machine
David Bowie is one of my favourite musical artists. So far my main work concerning him has been to bring the Tin Machine material into line with the excellent main Bowie articles.
[edit] Biography
- Tin Machine - the main article needed something of a rewrite to hopefully make it more accurate, more objectively written and more in line with the main articles on other groups.
[edit] Albums
- Tin Machine - needed an expansion to bring it in line with the other Bowie album articles.
- Tin Machine II - as above
- Oy Vey, Baby - Terrible as it is, I thought this deserved a page. Tonight's got one, after all...
- Rare - I have an odd obsession with this pretty poor cash-in release at the moment. Don't ask why...
[edit] Single Chronology
I'm currently researching doing a full singles chronology for David Bowie. I'm about to do the Tin Machine singles.
So far I've created, or added to, the following: -
- "Do Anything You Say"
- "I Dig Everything"
- "Rubber Band"
- "The Laughing Gnome"
- "Love You Till Tuesday"
- "Space Oddity" - Just some extra work on the extant page
- "The Prettiest Star"
- "Memory of a Free Festival"
- "Holy Holy"
- "Changes"
- "Starman" - A little bit of an expansion
- "John, I’m Only Dancing"
- "The Jean Genie" - Minor expansion
- "Drive-In Saturday"
- "Life on Mars?" - Minor expansion
- "Sorrow"
- "Rebel Rebel" - Expansion
- "Rock 'N' Roll Suicide"
- "Diamond Dogs" - Expansion
- "Knock on Wood"
- "Young Americans"
- "Fame" - Expansion
- "Golden Years" - Expansion
- "TVC15"
- "Suffragette City"
- "Sound and Vision"
- "Be My Wife"
- "Heroes" - Minor expansion
- "Beauty and the Beast"
- "Breaking Glass"
- "Boys Keep Swinging"
- "DJ"
- "John, I’m Only Dancing (Again)"
- "Alabama Song"
- "Ashes to Ashes" - Minor expansion
- "Fashion" - Expansion
- "Scary Monsters (and Super Creeps)"
- "Up the Hill Backwards"
- "Under Pressure" - Minor expansion
- "Wild is the Wind"
- "Baal (EP)"
- "Cat People (Putting Out Fire)"
- "Peace on Earth/Little Drummer Boy"
- "Let's Dance"
- "China Girl"
- "Modern Love"
- "White Light/White Heat"
- "Blue Jean"
- "Tonight"
- "This is Not America"
- "Loving the Alien"
- "Dancing in the Street"
- "Absolute Beginners"
- "Underground"
- "When the Wind Blows"
- "Day-In Day-Out"
- "Time Will Crawl"
- "Never Let Me Down"
For the chronology I'm following UK releases, as these are the most consistant... it also makes sense to follow Bowie's "domestic" singles. As with The Damned chronology, I'll be referencing major US releases as they come up, but following the British ones linearly.
[edit] The Damned
The Damned are Bowie's main challenger for my favourite musical artist.
[edit] Single Chronology
One of the things I did was a full singles chronology for the band.
- New Rose
- Neat Neat Neat
- Stretcher Case Baby
- Problem Child
- Don't Cry Wolf
- Love Song
- Smash It Up
- I Just Can't Be Happy Today
- White Rabbit
- The History Of The World Part 1
- There Ain't No Sanity Clause
- Dr Jekyll & Mr Hyde
- Wait for the Blackout
- Lovely Money
- Dozen Girls
- Lively Arts
- Generals
- Thanks For The Night
- Grimly Fiendish
- The Shadow Of Love
- Is It A Dream?
- Eloise
- Anything
- Gigolo
- Alone Again Or
- In Dulce Decorum
- Fun Factory
- Prokofiev
- Shut It
[edit] Albums
So far I've revamped the pages for the albums Not of This Earth and Anything. The other Damned album articles just seem to need minor expansion, while I'm hoping to also do articles on the band's myriad compilation and live albums, plus some of the band members. To date, I've contributed articles on "greatest hits" double LP Light At The End Of The Tunnel and the remix EP Testify.
[edit] Other Articles
Other work I've done on Wikipedia:
[edit] Comics
- Dragon's Claws - An excellent Marvel UK series, often overshadowed by Death's Head.
- Andrew Wildman - A British artist.
- Geoff Senior - My personal favourite comic artist.

I post on the Transformers Archive bulletin board under the username Cliffjumper, and have contributed a large guide to the Transformers comic book series to the site.
